The California Auto Body Shop

The California Auto Body Shop is an auto body shop based in Reseda, California, and you bring the RV to its shop rather than the other way around. It serves residents of the San Fernando Valley and LA County, with drop-off handled at its Reseda location once parts and repairs are ready to begin.

On the RV side, it works on frame, siding and fiberglass, handling collision damage, vandalism repair and general body restoration. The shop also has a 2.5-acre offsite location in addition to its main facility, which gives it room to work on larger rigs. Its process includes an inspection to check structural, mechanical and cosmetic damage, ordering factory-approved parts, doing the frame, siding and fiberglass repairs, then color-matched paint, sealing and refinishing before a multi-point check and pickup. It also coordinates directly with insurance companies on your behalf, which matters after a collision claim when you would rather not be the one on hold with the adjuster.

No hourly rate, diagnostic fee or RV-specific price is published, so ask about cost and turnaround when you call. It does offer free estimates, and for an accurate one on RV work it asks that you bring the rig in so a technician can assess the damage directly. Hours run Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Technicians are I-CAR Gold Class certified, and the shop has been family-owned and operated since 2017.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the San Fernando Valley or LA County dealing with collision damage, vandalism or fiberglass and siding repair who can get the rig to Reseda and wants help navigating an insurance claim along the way.
