Modern Wash

Modern Wash is a mobile RV detailing and restoration service based in Oroville, California. It comes to you, so there is no need to drive the rig anywhere. It covers Sacramento Valley and Northern California more broadly, with local crews it names in Sacramento, Chico, Redding, Roseville, Folsom, Oroville and several other towns.

It works on exterior wash and wax, interior deep cleaning, oxidation removal, RV roof restoration, ceramic coating and awning replacement, on recreational vehicles generally. Roof restoration matters if yours has started to chalk or crack, since a sealed roof now is cheaper than a leak and a soft floor later. Oxidation removal is for the faded, chalky look that years of sun leave on fiberglass siding, and it can bring back the original color without a full repaint.

There is no published price list, so ask about the cost and whether a trip fee applies when you call. Hours run Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM, and it advertises same-day service. It describes itself as "Licensed & Insured" and backs its work with a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee," so you know who to call if something was missed. The crew is described as having "10+ years experience."

Google reviews on its site show 5.0 stars from 150+ reviews, including mentions of a 15-year-old RV brought back to showroom condition and a roof restored instead of replaced.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Sacramento Valley or Northern California who wants the rig cleaned, sealed or restored at home or in a storage lot, without a drive to a shop.
