Orange County Mobile Mechanic

Orange County Mobile Mechanic is a mobile mechanic and RV repair business based in Huntington Beach, California. It comes to you, whether that is a home, an office, a roadside breakdown or a jobsite, and covers Orange County.

It works on "all kinds of over the road and off road Recreational Vehicles, 5th Wheel Trailers, towables, Tow Haulers and more," including pushers, Class A, B and C motorhomes and buses. It also repairs RV generators alongside its RV work, and takes on diesel truck and mobile equipment repair, so a shop that already handles the chassis side of a rig is also the one to call for a generator that quit.

There is no published trip fee or hourly rate, so ask about both when you call. Response time is "often the same day," which matters when a slide-out or AC failure leaves a rig unusable.

Robert Grove leads the operation with 35+ years of experience and is described as an ASE World Class Technician. A tech who has been doing this for decades has likely seen the odd failure your rig is throwing at you before, which can mean a faster diagnosis and fewer guesses on your dime. Google rates the business 4.7 stars from 38 reviews, and more than one reviewer describes Robert tracking down a hard to find part or working through an appliance failure while the owners were still living in the coach.

This is a good fit for an owner in Orange County who wants a tech to come to the driveway, a storage lot or the roadside rather than arranging a tow, and who is comfortable asking about cost before the truck shows up.
