Family RV

Family RV is an RV dealership and service shop based in Gilroy, California, where its service center repairs and maintains RVs for the public. You bring the RV to its shop at 7900 Arroyo Cir. for work to be done.

The service department handles water heaters, fresh water and waste systems, air conditioning, the range and oven, propane systems, the heating system, refrigerator and freezer, frame work, awnings, leveling jacks and plumbing. It also covers brake and suspension systems, interior and exterior work, audio and video entertainment, seals and gaskets, fluids and lubricants, general wear and tear, the generator, roof inspection and repair, the hydraulic system, and carpentry or cabinet repairs. It also installs accessories like satellite dishes, hitches, bike racks, batteries, propane tanks, cameras, GPS and solar, and runs a full RV collision and paint shop on site large enough for a Class A. Family RV calls itself "the premiere RV and trailer service and maintenance center for Morgan Hill, San Jose and the Silicon Valley, marin county, monterey county and more."

No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about cost and scheduling when you call. The shop is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, closed weekends.

Family RV's service department states it "has been servicing the Bay Area's RV service needs since 1991," which gives it a long track record on the same systems most owners end up calling about. Google rates it 4.1 stars from 130 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the South Bay or Silicon Valley area who wants one shop that can handle mechanical systems, appliances and body or paint damage in the same visit.
