Universal Onsite Repair

Universal Onsite Repair is a mobile RV repair business based in Fresno, California. It comes to you, though it does not say on its pages exactly how far it will travel, so ask about its service area and whether it reaches your campground, storage lot or driveway when you call.

It works on awnings, air conditioners, slide-outs, leveling jacks, hot water heaters, generators, furnaces and other appliances, plus electrical systems and computer diagnostics. It names specific brands it services, including Aqua Hot, Dometic, Airxcel, Norcold, Thetford and Lippert Components, which matters if your rig has a finicky slide-out motor or a fridge that is a known headache for a given brand.

There is no trip fee or hourly rate published, so ask about both before you book, along with hours of operation, since none are listed.

What stands out is the list of training behind the work. Universal Onsite Repair holds RVIA and ASE certification, an EPA 609 license, and factory training from Dometic, Aqua Hot, Lippert Components, Norcold/Thetford and Bendix. That is a wide spread of named training for a single mobile outfit, and it lines up with the brands it lists servicing, so a problem with a Dometic air conditioner or an Aqua Hot system is not a guess for them.

Google rates it 4.1 stars from 45 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in or around Fresno with a slide-out, generator or appliance problem from one of these named brands, who wants a tech trained on that specific equipment rather than a general handyman, and who is willing to call ahead and nail down the trip fee and timing first.
