San Diego Pacific Crest Services is a heavy duty semi truck and trailer repair shop in El Cajon that also works on RVs. It has a shop just off Interstate 8, so you can bring the RV in, or it will send one of its fully equipped service trucks to you if mobile service is needed, anywhere in San Diego County.

On RVs, it sticks to the mechanical side: engine, transmission and brakes. It says it leaves the living space of the rig alone and focuses on what gets you back on the road, including oil changes, fluid checks and roadside breakdowns. If your slide-out or your fridge quits, this is not the call; if your motorhome won't start or the brakes feel wrong on the way out of town, it is.

It publishes its numbers plainly. The hourly rate for motorhome and RV work is $198.00 per hour, separate from its truck rates. On top of that it charges a $100.00 "call out" fee in addition to our hourly rate, and it does not charge any mileage fees, which matters because a long tow into the hills east of San Diego can otherwise cost more than the repair.
