Randy's Mobile Auto Repair

Randy's Mobile Auto Repair is an auto and RV repair shop based in Concord, California, at 2750 Cloverdale Avenue. It offers mobile roadside assistance that comes to you, and it also runs a fully equipped shop in Concord where you can bring the rig in. Ask when you call which option fits a given job, since how far the mobile side reaches is not spelled out.

Its own description puts it plainly: "Welcome to Randy's Mobile the premier Concord auto repair and RV repair shop." The service list leans heavily on general auto and light truck work (brakes, engine repair, electrical, diagnostics, AC repair) along with a motorhome repair and motorhome tire repair listing under its services page. No RV brands or types are spelled out beyond that.

There is no published trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee, so ask about those up front when you call. What is offered in writing is a 24 months / 24,000 miles nationwide warranty on repairs, nationally ASE certified technicians, and a history that goes back to 2002, a long run for a shop still run under its listed owner, Randy Wilferd. The service area covers Concord, Contra Costa County, Clayton, Pleasant Hill, Martinez and Walnut Creek. Hours run Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 87 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Contra Costa County area who wants one shop that can handle both the tow vehicle and the rig, and who is comfortable calling first to nail down the trip fee and the exact scope of mobile work before scheduling.
