Weekend Hero RV

Weekend Hero RV is an RV repair business based in Barstow, California. It offers mobile repair, coming to your location, and also takes drop-offs at its own site, so you can choose whichever works better for your situation.

No systems, brands or RV types are named for what it works on, so ask when you call what it can handle for your rig. No service area beyond Barstow is given either, so check whether it reaches your campground, storage lot or driveway before you book.

No trip fee, hourly rate or job pricing is published, so get a number over the phone before anyone drives out. Calls are answered and responded to "as quickly as possible," and hours are listed as 24/7, with repair described as "just a phone call away." That matters if your fridge quits or your slide-out jams at 2 a.m. in the desert and the nearest shop is closed until Monday.

Weekend Hero RV describes its goal as operating with "complete transparency" because the RV repair trade has a reputation for overcharging and upselling parts you do not need. Whether that holds up is something to judge for yourself on the phone, by asking straight questions about the fee and the job before agreeing to anything.

Google rates it 5 stars from 38 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler stuck somewhere around Barstow at an odd hour who needs someone to pick up the phone, or an owner who would rather drop the RV off than wait on a mobile visit. Ask about the trip fee, the service radius and what it repairs before you commit.
