VJ's Auto Service

VJ's Auto Service is a family-run auto repair shop based in Arcadia, California. You bring your motorhome or RV to its shop on North First Avenue rather than have a tech come to you.

The shop works on A/C and refrigeration, generators, leveling systems, plumbing, transmissions, engine repairs, brake repairs, exhaust systems, and steering and suspension, alongside its general car, truck, SUV, minivan and boat work. It is an authorized sales and service provider for Cummins Onan generators, which matters if your RV runs a diesel or gas Onan unit and you want a shop that stocks the right parts rather than guessing at a fix.

VJ's does not publish an hourly rate or RV-specific pricing, so ask about cost and turnaround when you call. Shop hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.

The shop has been in business for decades and its technicians are ASE certified, meaning they have passed the industry's standard tests for the systems they touch, which matters when a generator or A/C problem has been misdiagnosed elsewhere. It is also AAA Approved Auto Repair. VJ's backs its repairs with a 2 year, 24,000 mile nationwide warranty, so a repair done before a long trip is still covered if something goes wrong a state away. Google rates it 4.5 stars from 119 reviews, and its own reviews mention RV owners who had their rigs serviced there before cross-country trips.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in or near Arcadia who wants a shop they can drop the rig at during the week, rather than waiting on a dealer, for generator work, A/C, plumbing or general maintenance before a trip.
