Southern Dreams RV Repair

Southern Dreams RV Repair is a family-run shop in Texarkana, Arkansas. It comes to you at your driveway, campground or wherever your rig is parked, or you can bring it to the shop at 304 S Rondo Rd, and the business puts it plainly: "We come to you, or you come to us."

Roof work and slide floors are what it specializes in, patching or replacing roofs damaged by storms, tree limbs or age, and fixing soft spots and rot in slide floors so the slide-out keeps working. It also handles AC diagnosis, repair, replacement and install, plus plumbing, fridge, furnace and routine checkups, on fifth wheels, Class Cs, travel trailers and motorhomes. It covers 13 towns across Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana, including Texarkana, Atlanta, Queen City, Redwater, Maud, New Boston, Hooks, DeKalb, Ashdown, Foreman, Magnolia, Shreveport and Bossier City, and says it will extend past that map for the right job, especially roof work, slide-out rebuilds and emergency leaks.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, closed weekends. Jonathan, the owner and lead technician, puts the approach this way: "We fix it right the first time, we tell you what it actually costs, and we stand behind the work."

Google rates it 5 stars from 93 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Ark-La-Tex dealing with a leaking roof or a soft slide floor who wants a tech who will drive out rather than wait on a dealer, or a traveler whose AC quit mid trip and needs it fixed fast.
