Scanlan RV Marine

Scanlan RV Marine is a boat and RV repair shop based in Apache Junction, Arizona, at Canyon Lake Marina & Campground. You can bring your RV to the shop at 16802 AZ-88. The shop also offers "limited mobile service in the surrounding areas" covering "throughout the East Valley," so call 480-442-4809 to check whether your site is inside that area.

The RV work covers air conditioning, furnaces, water heaters, electrical (AC/DC), batteries, generators, solar, inverters and converters, LP gas systems, plumbing, and appliance repair and replacement. It also does slide-out repairs, leveling systems, awning repair, suspension repair, roof reseal, leak detection and water damage repairs, and engine diagnostics and repair. Ask whether your make and model is covered.

No trip fee, hourly rate or hours are published, so ask about the trip fee and the rate when you call. A "Warranty/Insurance Claim Fee may apply for processing and administering the claim." For emergencies, the shop will "make every effort to respond," but no after-hours rate is listed. Canyon Lake is "temporarily closed for its scheduled drawdown," while the workload "remains steady," so call before you drive out.

Mike Scanlan has "over 25 years of experience in RV and marine service and repair," and the business calls itself "a family-owned repair business." No certifications, license or insurance are listed, so ask about those before you book. For an RV you are thinking of buying, a pre-purchase inspection helps find existing issues before you sign. The shop does not warrant parts you supply or failures that come from them, and it recommends "parts we source and verify." Google rates it 4.9 stars from 31 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner around Apache Junction with a slide-out, roof, AC or pre-purchase question who wants to talk with Mike Scanlan before booking.
