Alcan Legends Auto & Towing

Alcan Legends Auto & Towing is an auto repair, tire and towing shop based in Tok, Alaska, on the Alaska Highway. You bring the RV to its shop for repair work.

It lists RV repair alongside its auto and semi/tractor trailer repair work. It does not publish a specific list of RV systems it services, so ask when you call whether it can handle your particular job, whether that is a chassis issue, a transmission concern or something else mechanical. It serves Tok, Delta Junction, and Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory, which matters if you are hauling a rig up or down the Alaska Highway and need a shop along that stretch.

Towing and roadside assistance run 24/7, which counts for something on a highway where help can be hours away. The auto shop itself keeps winter hours of Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with Saturday by appointment only and Sunday closed. No RV repair pricing or trip fee is published, so ask about cost and timing when you call.

The shop has been doing towing, recovery and auto service in the Tanna Valley since 1982, and it calls itself "the only full-service shop with a NAPA Care guarantee." It is also named the preferred towing vendor for AAA and U-Haul in the area. Google rates it 4 stars from 77 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler broken down along the Alaska Highway corridor near Tok who needs a tow or a shop that can at least look at an RV problem, rather than an owner seeking a dedicated RV specialist.
