Robby The Camper Man

Robby The Camper Man is mainly an RV sales business based in Weaver, Alabama. It sells motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, pop-up campers and small campers, and its service work is a smaller side of the business. It does not say whether it comes to your campground, driveway or storage lot, so ask whether it comes to your site before you book.

Its service offer is "washing, cleaning, and waxing services for your RV," along with roof inspections and small job repairs. Its services also include full roof replacement, flooring, slides and plumbing, with no prices given for any of them. Washing and cleaning are limited to "a 60 mile radius of the Oxford Anniston, Alabama area," so ask about the service area before you drive in.

It publishes no trip fee, hourly rate or inspection price, so ask about the trip fee and the roof inspection price before you book. Its listed hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am to 5pm, and it names no after-hours or emergency service. Its hours are also listed differently in another place, so confirm them when you call.

Robby Nelson is named as the owner. It names no licensing, insurance or certification, and the experience line, "I've been operating in this field for a long time," gives no number of years. Ask for proof of insurance before anyone works on your roof, since a roof inspection means someone up on the roof. Google rates the business 2.8 stars from 9 reviews, under the category RV repair shop.

This is a good fit for an owner around Oxford or Anniston who wants a wash, wax or roof inspection, or who is shopping for a camper and wants the sale and the cleaning from one business. It is a weaker fit for a traveler with a broken slide-out or fridge far from Oxford or Anniston, since its stated service area is limited.
