Vina RV Service Center

Vina RV Service Center is an RV repair shop based at 355 Industrial Drive in Vina, Alabama. It does not come to you. You bring the RV to the shop, which says it "offers repair work for all types of RV and is also approved by Tiffin Motor Homes to provide warranty work."

It lists interior work, exterior work, wet bay replacement, yearly engine service, yearly generator service, yearly Aqua Hot service, reseal tops and limited welding. It names Aqua Hot and Tiffin Motor Homes as brands it services, and it works on Class A, Class C and pull-behind RVs. It states "No paint or body work at this time," so ask before you bring in a rig that needs paint. The list is not complete, so call about any job not named.

For a Tiffin, the approval matters because a warranty repair usually has to go to a shop the manufacturer has approved. Ask the shop to confirm coverage before any work starts.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with Saturday by appointment only and Sunday closed. It does not publish an hourly rate, repair job prices or a trip fee, so ask for a price on your job before you leave the RV. It does not state a service area or after-hours service either. While you wait, the lounge has restrooms, a TV, a couch, a coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator.

Owners Michael Stone and Chris Cantrell are both part owners. Michael's background includes production manager at Sunshine Homes, repair at Johnson RV Center, supervisor at Vanleigh and self-owned handyman services. Chris's background includes production at Tiffin Motor Homes. The shop names no RV certifications and states no licensing or insurance, so ask about both when you call. It also says "We provide warranty work, in addition to our other services." Google rates it 4.9 stars from 20 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Vina with a Tiffin, Aqua Hot or generator that needs warranty work or yearly service, or a traveler whose rig needs repair during business hours and who wants a campsite with hookups to stay the night.
