Lackey's RV Service

Lackey's RV Service is an RV repair shop based in Hanceville, Alabama. It does not say on its site whether it comes to your campsite or driveway, so ask when you call whether someone can meet you where the RV sits or whether you need to bring it in to the shop on AL Hwy 69 S.

It works on propane systems, RV collision repair, and RV renovations, and it says, "We can fix anything either inside or out." If your RV has been in a wreck, it says, "We will work with you and your insurance to get your RV up and going again," which matters if you are dealing with a claim and do not want to manage the paperwork and the repair shop separately. It also carries RV parts, can order what it does not stock, and helps owners sell an RV they no longer want.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about cost and timing when you call. Its business hours page lists Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; another page on the site lists 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for the same days, so confirm hours when you call.

Lackey's backs its parts with what it calls a "quality guarantee on all items." It has been in business for the past twenty years, and Jason Lackey is the owner. Google rates it 4.8 stars from 36 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Hanceville who needs propane work, collision repair with insurance involved, or a renovation, and who does not mind calling ahead to settle hours, cost and whether the RV needs to come to the shop.
