Lakeside RV Service

Lakeside RV Service is a full service RV repair shop based in Guntersville, Alabama. It also runs a mobile service, so a technician can come to you, or you can bring the rig into the shop, whichever fits the job better.

The shop works on refrigerators, A/C units, awnings, slide-outs, water pumps, batteries and tanks. It also handles insurance claims and works with extended and manufacturer warranties, which matters if a repair is covered and you do not want to pay out of pocket while the paperwork gets sorted.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, and the shop says it will get you scheduled within one business day of reaching out, which is worth knowing if your fridge quits on a Tuesday and you do not want to wait a week to hear back.

Lakeside RV is family owned and operated, and its FAQ page shows a shop that explains the basics plainly, how often to reseal a roof, how long a battery should last, when to service an A/C or a slide. That kind of detail suggests a crew used to walking owners through what is actually wrong instead of just handing over a bill.

Google rates it 4.8 stars from 53 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in or around Guntersville and North Alabama who wants one shop that handles the repair and the insurance claim together, or a traveler who would rather have a tech come to the campsite than find a way to tow a rig with a dead slide-out.
