RV Heroes

RV Heroes is a mobile RV service and repair business based in Clanton, Alabama. It comes to you, and its service area covers "a 60 mile radius of Clanton, AL," which names Birmingham, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa and Talladega. No street address is published, so the phone number, (205) 351-1126, is the way in.

It services travel trailers, 5th wheels and motorhomes, and it says it also services horse trailers. Its systems are appliances, electrical, plumbing (excluding holding tanks), roof maintenance and repair, awnings, slide toppers and leveling systems. No RV brands are named, so ask whether yours is covered. A rig with a stuck leveling system often cannot be driven to a shop, so a tech who comes to the rig can save a tow.

Its fee is stated this way: "Our service fee is $150 within our service area, and $4/a mile past the 60 mile radius." That is the trip fee to ask about. No hourly rate, diagnostic fee or minimum charge is published, so ask for those when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, closed Saturday and Sunday and on major holidays. No after-hours service is stated.

No certifications, factory training, licensing or insurance are named, so ask for each before booking. The company was founded in 2014. On warranties, it says "We can handle most all of your appliance warranty, all extended warranties, Forever Warranty and insurance," so ask before the visit whether your repair qualifies. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 34 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in Clanton or within 60 miles who wants the trip fee settled before the tech arrives, or a traveler near Birmingham, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa or Talladega with a dead appliance, a stuck leveling system or a torn slide topper.
