JM Onsite Repair

JM Onsite Repair is a mobile mechanic shop based in Birmingham, Alabama, that comes to you, whether that is on the side of the road, at a truck stop or in a parking lot. It is mainly a truck and diesel repair outfit that also works on RVs and motorhomes, with over 15 years of experience in that side of the business.

On the RV side, it handles air conditioning, electrical gremlins, no starts, tire repair and replacement, brakes, diagnostics, welding and fabrication, and general roadside mechanical work. This matters for an RV owner specifically because a breakdown on an RV often means a bigger, harder to move rig than a car, and a mobile tech who can get to a truck stop or parking lot saves a tow to a shop that may not even work on RVs. Along with Birmingham, it covers Gadsden, Chattanooga and Oxford/Anniston, and its pages also mention Huntsville and Cullman along the I-65 and I-59 corridors.

No trip fee, hourly rate or flat prices are published, so ask about the trip fee and what a visit will run before anyone drives out. The phone is answered 24/7: "Our convenient 24/7 roadside assistance means you can get back on the road again quickly and efficiently." That round the clock answering matters most for a traveler whose fridge dies or whose AC quits mid trip, not just truckers, since the same mobile crew and tools cover both.

This is a good fit for a traveler stranded along I-59 or I-65 in Alabama, or near Chattanooga, who needs a roadside fix on an AC, electrical issue, tire or no start and would rather call a local mobile mechanic directly than wait on a national dispatch number.
